**In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
**_Trade Compliance (TC)_**
+ Classification - Support the EU and US HTS and ECCN classification for new products, spare parts, product moves, engineering changes, and other scenarios, as required.
+ Supporting documentation requirements for the dual-use declarations and Export Licenses process.
+ ITC Support - Provide Trade Compliance support to users and gatekeepers.
+ Restricted party screening in TRAX, TSE and Amber Road and analyzing potential matches.
+ Checking all the screening elements in TRAX and TSE for all the orders and shipments which are on compliance hold.
+ Maintenance and cleanup of JDE & Oracle for Trade Compliance attributes (New items & Changes)
+ Pre and post audit process, auditing import/ export documentation, screening audits and maintenance of entries databases
+ Offer support on the country-of-origin determination and classification of products and on handling the manual shipment process.
**_Product Material Compliance (PMC)_**
+ Follow-up relevant global material compliance legislations (REACh, RoHS, WEEE, Conflict Minerals, Batteries, Packaging, etc) updates to establish and maintain the material compliance for current and future new products.
+ Align local organizations processes and procedures to requirements provided by One Emerson Regulatory Compliance team, in accordance with applicable rules and regulation.
+ Provide specific support to local organisation on internal audits or government inquiries.
+ Address product material compliance related customers ‘requests.
+ Review material compliance data provided by suppliers, ensure relevant information communicated to engineering team.
**_CheckPoint (CkPt)_**
+ Support of current checkpoint program, as CheckPoint Champion (CC) or CC back-up: ensure required processes and procedures are current.
+ Management of Due Diligence process, via implemented tool (iCheckPoint): supporting customers with DDQ completion, review DDQ info and initiate approval process within iCheckPoint
+ Management of transaction driven Due diligence process: review of end use, end user info, ensure compliance with Emerson requirements.
+ Release of orders on hold for CheckPoint reasons.

**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
+ Minimum 2 years’ experience in working in import export activities, customs, legal, customer service, logistics or trade compliance related activities;
+ Good knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office
+ Fluent in English (spoken and written)
+ Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:**
+ Knowledge of Customs and Logistics Terminology and Trade Compliance requirements, including Import, Export Compliance and Supply Chain Security
+ Knowledge of Compliance program requirements
+ Knowledge of Export regulations and sanctions.
