The Manager, Regulatory Compliance-Special Projects, serves as a key advisor to Field and Support Central teams, providing expert guidance on regulatory, licensing, and compliance matters across 1,100+ schools in 40+ states. This role will work to ensure company objectives are met while proactively developing and implementing solutions that maintain alignment with evolving agency and organizational requirements. The Manager will lead a team and partner cross-functionally to deliver results related to compliance activities for new school integration, product rollouts, and ongoing regulatory obligations across multiple state and local areas.
Essential Functions:
Lead and develop staff to excel in department and individual objectives; provide staff with a clear sense of direction and purpose; communicate effectively and timely with staff; regularly utilize a variety of recognition tools and programs. Proactively solves problems, resolves, records and analyzes issues in an effort to improve the overall licensing and agency compliance throughout our organization. Provide analytical reasoning, report development and conclusive, summary recommendations informing Operations leadership which will impact change and result in higher quality licensing/regulatory compliance. Advise and inform Field and Support Central personnel on regulatory/licensing and compliance issues/changes as well as using independent judgment and critical decision making to ensure company goals are met for both internal and external customers and in line with company objectives. Perform research, direct and advise multi-function teams on regulatory agency requirements and changes in city, county, state and other municipality requirements. Ensure licensing and agency compliance from School, District and Company personnel. Review, complete and approve licensing, health department, sanitation, fire and other regulatory applications, renewals, invoices and forms and submit to appropriate agency. Proactively develop and implement compliance and licensing solutions designed to ensure ongoing licensing and regulatory compliance. Oversee all licensing and agency compliance transition activities related to the integration of new schools including acquisitions, green field builds, and refurbishments as well as product rollouts aimed at improving overall Customer Experience and driving incremental profitability. Partner cross functionally to open new schools, client facing schools and acquisitions. Generate and sustain relationships with State Licensing offices/consultants on behalf of the Company in order to deliver results on or before target dates for all significant school projects and improve overall agency relations Independently identify and implement changes as needed to ensure company directives are met while partnering with various Support Central Departments, including but not limited to Legal, Human Resources, Marketing, Facilities, Risk Management, etc. to confirm all aspects of issues are addressed. Facilitate training on regulatory standards, internal and external standard operating procedures, company policy, and safety as needed. Manage multiple databases, including applicable Compliance Central modules, for information regarding schools, offices, and hierarchies.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in early childhood administration, public administration, law, or related field required. Minimum 3 years of related experience in Early Childhood, Education, Health/Safety, or related field required. Minimum 3 years of management/supervisory experience required. Minimum 3 years of experience related to regulatory agency related compliance such as Health, Fire, or Child Care Licensing required. Experience working in multi-unit environment preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation based on position, education and experience. Bi-weekly paid. Base salary range: $108,000 – $115,000 This position is also eligible for our Support Central bonus program which is based on annual achievement of company performance.Health and Wellness Benefits:
