JOB SUMMARY 
Geographical scope: Local (Japan)
    Responsible for executing Japan RA strategies for CMC in line with RAJ/ UCBJ/ the UCB global RA strategy
    Implement/ Ensure the application dossier for the NDA and approval
    Responsible for submission of Pre-approval GMP inspection
    Ensure quality of the regulatory documents according to UCB quality standards
    Assess or recommend solution/ prevention plans for issues related to the import, manufacture, and sales of market products
    Supports to resolve to prevent problems related to the import, manufacture, and sales of market products

 MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES 
    Responsible for executing Japan RA strategies for CMC in line with RAJ/ UCBJ/ the UCB global RA strategy
    Implement/ Ensure the application dossier for the NDA and approval
    Responsible for submission of Pre-approval GMP inspection
    Responsible for preparing the application dossier (M1.2, 2.3 and M3) for the NDA/PCA and approval
    Ensure quality of the regulatory documents according to UCB quality standards
    Assess or recommend solution/ prevention plans for issues related to the import, manufacture, and sales of market products
    Supports to resolve to prevent problems related to the import, manufacture, and sales of market products
    Supports to implement the application dossier preparation including the CTN and CTD for the NDA and approval
    Appropriate using budgets of DRA to meet objectives for CMC
    Maintain UCBJ’s Manufacturing and Marketing Authorization
    Supports and maintains UCBJ’s Manufacturing and Marketing Authorization
    Promotes the gathering of updated information on regulatory area
    Develops RA knowledge and behavior according the PDP
    Manages RA staffs and supports Japan Regulatory

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION 

Education Level :  Bachelor's Degree
                              Master's Degree

Experience : Researcher of biological products: XX years
                     CMC-RA for low-molecule and biological products: XX years

COMPETENCIES 
Experience (List the type and length of experience) 
-    Minimum 5 years of experience in regulatory affairs, CMC section in laboratory or quality control within the pharmaceutical industry
-    International collaboration preferred
-    Demonstrated ability to develop and manage regulatory agency relationships
-    Hand-on experience in some phases of regulatory process, content expert in one or more areas of product development and life-cycle
Specific skills/competences (Include specific skills and knowledge necessary to meet the objectives of the role)
-    Scientific / technical knowledge
-    Negotiation, coaching, mentoring and people management skill
-    Management and leadership skill
-    Review skill for regulatory documents
-    Able to communicate and give presentations in English
-    Thorough understanding of and demonstrated ability to apply regulations and procedures

-    Works effectively within teams to achieve completion of assigned tasks within agreed timelines.
