Regulatory Affairs Pharmacist (Limited Term Contract)

A leading multinational consumer health company is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Pharmacist to join its team on a limited term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to regulatory activities across key West African markets within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Role Purpose
The Regulatory Affairs Pharmacist will be responsible for managing regulatory activities within assigned portfolios and ensuring that products (including medicines, medical devices, cosmetics, and foods) are compliant with local regulations and can be effectively launched and maintained in the market.
The role will involve close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies to support commercial objectives while maintaining the highest compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute regulatory strategies to support product registrations and lifecycle managementPrepare and submit regulatory dossiers and applications to health authoritiesEnsure products comply with local regulatory requirements, including labeling, claims, and promotional materialsLiaise with regulatory authorities, industry bodies, and external stakeholdersProvide regulatory guidance to cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, quality)Identify regulatory risks and implement mitigation strategiesMaintain regulatory databases, documentation, and compliance systemsSupport development of compliant product claims and promotional materialsKey Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in PharmacyMinimum of 3 years’ experience in Regulatory AffairsStrong knowledge of regulatory requirements and product registration processes within West AfricaExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsHigh level of integrity and ability to operate in a compliant environmentAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesKey Competencies
