Together, let's build a brighter, healthier future for all. **Job Summary** **Lead the regulatory processes in Mexico (biggest business in the LATAM region) to obtain all the necessary government approvals for the legal registration and import of Hill’s products. Demonstrate a high sense of ownership, proactivity and critical thinking. Be very organized and have strong attention to detail. Ensure compliance with deadlines and consistent access to Hill’s products. Maintain open, clear and effective lines of communication with the global Regulatory team, cross-functional partners, Mexican trade associations and regulatory authorities. Stay current with updates and new regulatory processes, communicate them and provide impact analysis. Report to the area manager (based in Brazil) and carry out constant updates regarding progress.** **Key Responsibilities** + **Product registration and life-cycle management** + Represent the LATAM RA organization in reformulation, relaunch and innovation projects + Stay abreast of registration requirements at local or regional level + Work with the internal team in order to deliver the grid + Prepare and deliver core dossiers on time and according to business plans + **Regulatory Intelligence and Product Advocacy** + Represent Hill’s in local or regional trade associations, as deemed necessary by his/her line manager + Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and provide regulatory advice and impact assessment accordingly + Build solid and long term relationships with the authorities in charge of product registration as well as any other relevant body + **Regulatory assessments / advice** + Deliver regulatory assessments and advice within the regulatory areas of expertise + Constantly guide the LATAM team regarding regulatory strategies and opportunities + Deliver Regulatory training according to the needs of the LATAM team + Participate and provide regulatory assessments in regulatory due diligences + Ensure participation in key meetings for the regulatory function and provide timely feedback + Meet regularly with and work closely with the marketing and the commercial team in order to deliver business objectives **Reporting & Location.** + The position will report to the LatAm Regulatory Affairs Manager + The position will be located in Mexico City **Requirements.** + BS degree in Veterinary or Biological Sciences or relevant education. Advanced degree preferred + At least 5 years of relevant experience in regulatory affairs (pet food, animal feed or pharmaceutical preferred) + Understanding of registration and regulatory requirements + Knowledge of industry practices, techniques and standards + Knowledge/understanding/experience in the following legislations and field would be an added value: Pet Food, Animal Feed + Effective communication skills, both written and oral, with excellent interpersonal skills + Strong leadership skills and behavior + Experience in leading people is preferred + Flexible with priorities and responsibilities + Effective organizational skills and attention to detail + Excellent prioritization and time management skills + Works well under pressure in a dynamic environment + Excellent computer skills which include working on electronic databases and Google applications + Fluent in spoken and written English. **Our Commitment to Inclusion** Our journey begins with our people—developing strong talent with diverse backgrounds and perspectives to best serve our consumers around the world and fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels a true sense of belonging.
