Regulatory Affairs Analyst
Job Description Key Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance & Product Support • Prepare, review, and submit regulatory documentation required for product registrations, renewals, notifications, and market access. • Support the creation and maintenance of Safety Data Sheets (SDS), product labels, and other compliance materials per applicable regulations (e.g., EPA, FDA, FIFRA, TSCA, WHMIS, EU REACH, CLP). • Monitor updates to regulations affecting assigned product lines and proactively assess business impact. • Coordinate data collection from internal teams to support regulatory submissions and regulatory reporting obligations. Cross Functional Collaboration • Partner with R&D and Product Development teams to ensure new products meet regulatory requirements before launch. • Advise Marketing and Sales teams on permissible claims, labeling requirements, and market specific restrictions. • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Manufacturing to support compliance assessments for raw materials, suppliers, and formulation changes. Documentation & Data Management • Maintain regulatory databases, internal systems, and document repositories to ensure accurate and up to date records. • Support audits, inspections, and internal compliance reviews by providing required regulatory information. • Analyze regulatory data and prepare summaries, reports, and risk assessments for business stakeholders. Regulatory Intelligence • Track emerging regulations, industry trends, and enforcement actions relevant to Ecolab’s product categories. • Provide concise summaries and guidance to teams regarding regulatory changes and implementation requirements. Skills and Requirements Required • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Regulatory Affairs, or related discipline. • Experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, product stewardship, or a related field. • Familiarity with chemical, antimicrobial, or food safety regulations (e.g., EPA, FDA, OSHA, REACH). • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to communicate complex regulatory requirements clearly to non technical audiences. Preferred • Experience within the chemical, cleaning, water treatment, or life sciences industry. • Knowledge of international regulatory frameworks (EU, Canada, Latin America, APAC). • Experience preparing regulatory submissions or supporting SDS/label creation. • Project management experience across cross functional teams.
