Job Description
The Registration Coordinator serves as the starting point for the logistics lifecycle, handling essential order entry, shipment registration, and data integrity across multiple operating systems. This role requires excellence in documentation, communication, and problem‑solving while supporting transportation activities that involve steamship lines, trucking partners, rail providers, and internal logistics teams. The Registration Coordinator ensures each shipment is accurately registered, tracked, and processed to maintain smooth operational flow.
Responsibilities
•\tMaintain accurate, timely, and thorough records in a proprietary database.
•\tManage exceptions and review the database for errors and corrections.
•\tPerform routine data entry, including entering new orders and shipment information into computerized tracking systems.
•\tTrace shipments with steamship lines, trucking vendors, railroads, and other suppliers, updating information into operations systems.
•\tTroubleshoot and resolve exceptions, responding to escalated service requests.
•\tProvide input to team leader and group manager on departmental initiatives and process improvement projects.
•\tPerform typing, faxing, mail distribution, phone messaging, and other office-related duties as required.
•\tScan and separate documents in the Document Management System.
•\tUpdate schedules, logs, and tasks daily.
•\tUpdate all operating systems as required, including quality assurance and user acceptance testing.
•\tPerform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
•\tProficiency in data entry.
•\tStrong customer service skills.
•\tBasic knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
•\tHigh school diploma or equivalent (HSED); some college preferred.
•\tOne year of experience with increasing responsibilities in a similar or related industry.
•\tHigh degree of problem-solving capability.
Work Environment
This role is fully onsite in an office setting and involves daily interaction with internal departments and external logistics partners. High performance in this position contributes directly to department efficiency, accuracy, and overall operational success.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
