Schedule

This is a full-time position (35–40 hours per week).
We’re open Monday through Friday and every other Saturday.

We believe in true work–life balance and offer flexible, consistent scheduling whenever possible.

Compensation

$18–$23 per hour, based on experience.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our medical team, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting veterinarians during exams and procedures, ensuring safe and effective animal restraint

Performing pre-physical tasks (weights, temperatures, histories, reason for visit)

Administering prescribed medications, vaccines, treatments, and assisting with dental cleanings

Monitoring anesthesia and patient vitals following established safety protocols

Obtaining and positioning radiographs

Monitoring surgical patients during recovery

Running in-house lab tests (bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal analysis)

Providing emergency first aid and life-saving support when needed

Preparing and labeling samples for laboratory testing

Maintaining and sterilizing equipment and instruments

Preparing patients for surgery, including IV catheter placement and clipping

Filling prescriptions and accurately labeling medications

Keeping exam rooms and treatment areas clean and organized

Collaborating with veterinarians and support staff to ensure excellent patient care and client communication
