Registered Veterinary Technician
VCA Dakota Ridge Animal Hospital – Littleton, CO
VCA Dakota Ridge Animal Hospital is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our fast-paced, 4-doctor practice. We are looking for a motivated, compassionate individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to providing exceptional patient care and client service.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgeries.
Providing nursing care and completing patient treatments.
Monitoring anesthesia and recovering patients.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the hospital and treatment areas.
Supporting the hospital team in all aspects of daily operations.
Qualifications:
Completion of an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program (or equivalent) and eligibility for Colorado RVT certification/licensure.
Strong technical skills and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
Dependable attendance and commitment to patient care.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Physical & Work Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Must be able to walk, bend, stand, and reach throughout an 8+ hour shift.
Willingness to work long or irregular hours when needed.
Allergies to animals must be controllable through medication.
Visual, auditory, and verbal acuity sufficient to record accurate information, recognize patients and clients, and communicate effectively in person and by phone.

Pay Range $21.00 to $23.00 dependent on prior experience
