**Registered Veterinary Technician, RVT** **Location: Vancouver, BC** **Yaletown Animal Hospital** is welcoming a **Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)** to join our dynamic and growing practice! **The ideal candidate:** + Must be a Registered Animal Health Technician or equivalent, preferably with at least 1 year of clinical experience, but will consider a new grad with an exceptional work ethic. + **A strong knowledge of anesthesia, dentistry, surgery support, patient care, critical care, and other veterinary technician skills are a must.** + You will be joining a team of 18 trained technical staff and 7 doctors to provide a very high standard of veterinary care to a wide variety of cats and dogs. + The shifts are 10 hours, 4 days a week, based on the clinic's needs--which may include one weekend shift. + Schedules are posted at a minimum 2-weeks and at a maximum 2-months in advance, giving you the flexibility to swap shifts with other technicians. **Compensation:** $26.00 to $35.00 per hour. The hourly rate range is for the primary location for which the job is posted.
