Registered Pharmacy Technician I – Evening

·       Work location: 1301 Pennsylvania Ave. Fort. Worth, TX 76104

·       Work hours:  12:30 PM – 9:00 PM or 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM some holidays, some weekends may have to rotate on overnights.

Here’s What You Need

·       High School Diploma or Equivalent required

·       RPhT – Registered Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire required

·       Sterile IV Certification highly preferred

·       Prior inpatient hospital experience highly preferred

·       Proficiency in written and verbal English language, computers, the ability to adapt to various software systems, and basic math including conversions, proportions, ratios, and algebra.

·       The ability to work alone and as part of a team.

What You Will Do

·       Timely and accurate preparation, delivery to the nursing units/appropriate departments & storage of medications, including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so, varies by location.

·       Ensuring accuracy of one’s own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation. Must reflect consistently departmental quality improvement and Patient Safety standards, programs, and initiatives.

·       Ongoing professional development and growth, leads by example, perpetuates accountability, manages own time.

·       Communicate effectively, develop positive working relationships and role model teamwork that reflects the Texas Health Promise Behaviors. Trains new employees on routine tasks, under the direction of designated personnel.

·       Shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.
