As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for:

Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

Education Requirements

Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsementBachelors Degree in Nursing preferredGraduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs

Experience Requirements

One year L&D experience preferredNursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty

Licenses/Certification Requirements

RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact

Physical Requirements 

Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

SCHEDULE: PRN Nights. 5 shifts in a 6 week period.

Where You'll Work

For more than 50 years, St. Anthony North Hospital has delivered optimal health care to the communities of Westminster, Erie, Brighton, Broomfield, Northglenn and Thornton. Highlights of our campus include 60,000 square feet of integrated primary and specialty care physician clinics, ambulatory surgery center, birthing center with private birthing suites, Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 emergency services, over 150 inpatient beds and an outpatient diagnostics center with lab and imaging services. In 2023, we received our prestigious Magnet designation! We are so proud of our nursing staff for this achievement, which is awarded to less than 6 percent of hospitals in the United States. Built on the pillars of convenience, wellness and person-centered care, we offer inpatient and outpatient care at one site, with an emphasis on preventive health, wellness and health education.

As of October 2025, we are a 15 bed labor deck, 18 bed postpartum unit, and a 7-9 bed level II NICU caring for 32 weeks and above, occasionally going down to 30 weeks. With our location right off I-25 we see all gestations and have the capability and resources to deliver, stabilize and transport. We also have 3 triage beds and 2 OR suites. We are doing around 100 deliveries a month and continuing to grow. With the addition of Kaiser we anticipate we will double our census and deliveries. Exciting times at St. Anthony North!Our dynamic unit offers numerous opportunities for continuing education and role expansion, supported by a flexible self-scheduling process.
