The Specialty Care Transport Nurse will utilize the nursing process and established best practices to assess, plan, evaluate and document nursing care of patients in both the out of hospital and interfacility environments. They will understand and apply specialized critical care principals and techniques including basic and advanced life support treatment. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 1.BSN. 2. Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification. 3. AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification. 4. NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License. 5. Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification. (Within 60 days of hire) 6. Valid Driver's License from a USA state. 7. Graduate of an approved School of Nursing. 8 Demonstrates the ability to successfully complete orientation and all associated competencies including but not limited to IABP, Impella, EVD, ventilator management.
