Job Description:Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.

Education Qualifications:

BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing

FTE/Schedule:

FTE: FLEX 0.6 - 0.8 FTE (48-64 hours per 2 weeks)

Shift: 8 hour shift; Day/Evening rotation

On Call: Evening, Night, Weekends and Holiday's as assigned

Pre/Post Op, surgery circulator, and discharge planning

Qualified candidates may be eligible for a hiring incentive of up to $7,500 (ADN) and up to $10,000 (BSN)

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employmentBasic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 monthAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 3 monthsPediatric Advanced Life support (PALS) certification within 6 month
