Preferred areas of nursing expertise include ICU, ER, PACU, Oncology, and Home Health. IVIG and SQ IG experience recommended. The applicant should be able to demonstrate their skills. Peripheral IV starts/maintenance, mediport, and IV Infusion Therapy Injection and self-infusion training; Phlebotomy for adult patients CVAD experience & knowledge of Advanced Nursing Certifications (CRNI, OCN preferred). Other experience you could bring to this position would be: Wound care, experience with wound Vacs, Tracheostomy, Ostomy and G-tubes.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for assessing patients' health needs, developing personalized care plans, and delivering high-quality healthcare services such as Infusion Therapy, Wound Care, Medication Management, Tube Feeding, patient education, PICC Line, and Central Line Care. There is maximum flexibility with no minimum time commitment and no on-call.
Initial assessments and reassessments of the patient's health status and needs. Conduct Supervisory Visits for clients with personal care. Comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's specific requirements and goals. Monitor and evaluate patients' progress regularly, adjusting care plans as needed. Provide skilled nursing care, such as infusions, dressing changes, and medication management. Utilize electronic medical record documentation in compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Collaborate with the team and other healthcare professionals, such as pharmacies, workers' comp, to ensure coordinated care. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a safe environment for patients and caregivers. Provide documentation of ongoing training and professional development activities to stay abreast of advances in nursing practice and home care standards. Advocate for patients' rights and promote their autonomy and dignity in decision-making processes. Maintain patient continuityArea of Service: Fredericksburg, VA, including all surrounding areas such as Spotsylvania, Stafford, Falmouth, Lake Anna, Locust Grove, Unionville, King George, Staunton ( + miles & travel time), and Montross (+ miles & travel time).
Time Requirements: This is a part-time position with no minimum time requirements and NO on-call.

Start IVs, Access Ports, and utilize the Electronic Medical Record system. Have a laptop or tablet Current unrestricted RN License (Required), currently licensed in the state of Virginia or a multistate license AHA CPR and AED training Possess a valid state driver's license and Automobile liability insurance. Negative TB skin test ( 1 year) or chest x-ray (5 years) Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull.
