Job Description:Seeking a Registered Nurse to serve in the operating room at Essentia Health's Fargo Hospital on 32nd Avenue in Fargo, North Dakota. This RN works four 10-hour days, 8:30 am to 7:00 pm, with one weekday off. Responsible for on-call coverage one night per week and every fourth weekend. On-call coverage for one or two holidays per year is also required. A sign-on incentive of up to $10,000 is available with a 2-year commitment.

Education Qualifications:BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.

What You'll Do:

Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.  Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions.  Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Current RN nursing licensure in state of North Dakota upon hire.

AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month of hire.

AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of hire.

Previous OR experience is preferred.
