We are seeking a part time Registered Nurse for the CVICU at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus.
Shift: Day/Night rotation (2 x 12-hour shifts per week).
The CVICU is a 24-bed, high-acuity unit located in Falls Church, VA, specializing in the care of patients post-cardiac and vascular surgery, heart and lung transplant, advanced heart failure, and other complex diagnoses requiring intensive monitoring and life-saving interventions. Experience: 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship. Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing.If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date. Certifications: BLS for healthcare provider certification from AHA required. ACLS (must obtain within 6 months of hire). Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years CVICU RN experience. Unit involvement (committees, charge RN, precepting)
