Qualification: Required: + Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing + Associate degree in nursing Preferred: + Bachelor s degree in nursing + Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and demonstrated writing skills + Minimum (2) two years of related chemotherapy experience strongly preferred Certifications and Licenses Required: + Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement + BLS certification through American Heart Association + ACLS certification through American Heart Association + I.V. certified from an approved facility or completion of requirements for I.V. certification. + ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification Scheduling Requirements: + Day Shift 7:00am 7:30pm + Per Diem Essential Functions: Manage a select caseload of patients receiving chemotherapy on an outpatient basis. Administer chemotherapy regimens, perform patient assessment, provide symptom management and patient and family education. Administer non-chemotherapy infusions and blood products, perform patient assessment, provide symptom management and patient and family education. Act as part of a multidisciplinary team provide continuity of care throughout various stages of treatment and follow-up.
