Job Overview:
Join the Madeline Fiadini LoRe Infusion Center, a leading facility offering a wide range of services including chemotherapy, non-chemotherapy treatments, blood transfusions, bio/immunotherapy, injections, and therapeutic phlebotomy. Our Oncology Specialty Clinics provide expert care in Medical Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Thoracic Oncology, Gynecologic Oncology, and Urological Oncology. The center features 10 infusion chairs, 5 oncology exam rooms, and specializes in treating diverse cases in Oncology, Hematology, GI/Rheumatology. This offers a unique opportunity to work in a rapidly growing and developing oncology program, with multiple specialties housed in one area. As part of the largest health system in NJ, connected to leading cancer centers in the area for Interprofessional quality collaboration.

The infusion registered nurse provides nursing care in the health care system within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.The infusion registered nurse assures safety in practice by maintaining a realization of own individual level of knowledge and experience and assumes responsibility for advancing knowledge of self and others of the patient care team by communication with and utilizing resource persons and programs available.Responsible for the compassionate direct care delivery of patients in the infusion center including administration of chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy agents for oncology and non- oncology patients.Responsible for consistently setting and evaluating priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement; utilizes the nursing process to integrate all aspects of the provision of care and individualizes the plan of care to address a specific patient s needs.Responsible for supervising and directing the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and collaborates with other patient care providers.This individual will serve as the link between the patient, medical oncology, radiation oncology, and other support staff as appropriate.Other Duties:
