**Employment Type:** Part time **Shift:** 12 Hour Day Shift **Description:** At **Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center** / **Mount Sinai** **Rehabilitation/Behavioral** **Health** the Assistant Nurse Manager—internally classified as Nursing Supervisor – NL I—supports the Nurse Manager in administrative and managerial duties while guiding the healthcare team in delivering best clinical practices within the behavioral health setting. **What you will do:** + Assist the Nurse Manager in overseeing unit personnel and maintaining a safe, efficient, and supportive nursing environment. + Supervise charge nurses and frontline staff, contributing to staff coordination, scheduling, and throughput. + Participate in hiring, performance management, and staff development. + Promote a culture of safety, excellence, and continuous improvement. + Lead by example, fostering respectful communication, collaboration, and professional growth. + Support evidence-based practices and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. + Drive effective patient care outcomes and operational performance through transformational leadership. **Minimum Qualifications** **:** **Required:** + Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). + Valid RN license in Connecticut. **Preferred:** + The ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of experience in Behavioral Health nursing. + 1 or more years of management or supervisory experience, such as charge nurse. + BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross). **Position Highlights:** + Part Time-24hr/Days + Every other Weekend/Holiday **Ministry/Facility Information** **Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital’s** Behavioral Health Services include a full range of mental health and substance abuse treatment programs for all ages.
