Apply today for our Registered Nurse RN NICU opportunity. **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance. **What will you do in this role:** + You will assess patient condition during admission and during each shift as scheduled and/or as needed, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status. + You will assess patient environment for any safety risks and/or non-compliance with regulatory standards. + You will assess patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management, including reassessments after appropriate intervention. + You will assess patient condition for signs and symptoms of abuse or neglect. Reports any indications of abuse or neglect to medical provider(s), nurse leader, and/or appropriate agency. + You will perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner. **What qualifications you need:** + Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required + Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred + 1 year applicable experience + Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in + the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact + license, in accordance with law and regulation. + Basic Life Support (BLS) + Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) 60 days upon hire + S.T.A.B.L.E.
