Registered Nurse RN - Inpatient Rehab
**Employment Type:** Part time **Shift:** Rotating Shift **Description:** **Position Purpose** In the Inpatient Rehab Unit at **Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital** , the Registered Nuse (RN) provides inpatient care for adult patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions requiring intensive therapy. **What You Will Do:** + Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals. + Administer medications, IV therapy, and pain management interventions as prescribed as well as monitoring for complications, infections, or changes in condition, responding appropriately to emergencies. + Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote functional independence. **Minimum Qualifications** **Required:** + Graduation from an accredited nursing school + Valid RN license in Connecticut **Preferred:** + Bachelor's degree in Nursing + The ideal candidate will have two or more years of rehabilitation, orthopedic, or med-surg nursing in a acute inpatient setting. + BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) **Position Highlights:** + Per Diem-Rotating Schedule **Ministry/Facility Information** Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital’s Behavioral Health Services include a full range of mental health and substance abuse treatment programs for all ages.
