They consistently integrate concepts of relationship-based care into practice and serves as a clinical and educational resource to others on the unit. The Inpatient Rehab units at Chelsea Hospital care for patients requiring comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation after traumatic brain injuries, cerebral vascular accidents, amputations, debility, poly trauma or spinal cord injuries. Inpatient Rehab is a collaborative program between Chelsea Hospital and University of Michigan Health, staffed by a team of award-winning U-M Health rehab physicians and Chelsea Hospital nurses, therapists, and specialists. Our Inpatient Rehabilitation unit has recently expanded to a 40-bed unit and is now accepting higher acuity patients.
