Registered Nurse/RN II - PACU PRN Days _Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together_ Work location: Texas Health Rockwall - 3150 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032 Work hours: PRN "as needed" variable work shifts depending on the needs of the department, some weekend call is required. Must be able to work a minimum of (3) 12-hour shifts per six-week period, one weekend shift per six-week period, one major holiday and one minor holiday per year. Training: Must be able to attend training at the corporate office in Arlington during the first 1-5 days of hire PACU Department Highlights: + This position may be asked to float to the IR Recovery, Pre-Op, and the GI departments as needed. + Highly skilled, dedicated employees. + Fast-paced surgical environment. + Flexible staff to ensure the needs of the department and the safety of the patients. Here's What You Need + Nursing Diploma required or + Associate's degree in Nursing required or + Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred + 1 year experience as a registered nurse required + Critical care experience preferred + Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire and + BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required upon hire + A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
