Where You Will Work:
Patient Population: Adult patients in the outpatient and inpatient setting. The team supports a wide range of Endoscopic procedures including preventative screening and diagnostic colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCP, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), and bronchoscopies.

Skill Mix: Experienced nurses and GI Technicians
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 0700-1730. Four 10-hour shifts per week.
Start and end times may flex based on department needs.
On-Call Requirements:
call in once every 10th weekend and (2) weeknights per month
We’re Looking For:
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
1-2 Years of Med/Surg, ICU, ED or 1 year perioperative nursing experience. *Nurse Extern time excluded from Nursing experience.
ACLS is required by completion of orientation.
What You’ll Do:
Deliver individualized care using the nursing process—assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, mobilizing resources and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Promote patient safety by implementing risk-reduction strategies and reporting safety events promptly.
Educate patients and families, adapting teaching methods to meet unique learning needs and supporting readiness for discharge.
Coordinate care and discharge planning through an interdisciplinary approach, ensuring continuity across the healthcare continuum.
Lead and delegate effectively, fostering teamwork and supporting unlicensed personnel.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and unit performance.
