**Description:**
Position located with Good Samaritan Hospital in Greensboro, Georgia.
Mid shift - 3p-3a with Day 1 Benefits!
A Registered Professional Nurse who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing & evaluating the care of patients. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of therapeutic patient care, patient advocacy, team dynamics, & hospital systems. Serves as a resource support staff. Requires a high degree of initiative & independent judgment
**I.** **Position Summary:** A Registered Professional Nurse who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing & evaluating the care of patients. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of therapeutic patient care, patient advocacy, team dynamics, & hospital systems. Serves as a resource support staff. Requires a high degree of initiative & independent judgment.
**II.** **Position Requirements** :
**A: Licensure/Certification/Registration** : Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
**B: Education:** Graduation from an NLM accredited school of nursing.'
**C: Experience:** One year of recent Registered Nursing experience preferred (within the past five years)
**D: Special Qualifications:** Current BCLS. ACLS, & PALS/ENPC mandatory (required with in 1st year of employment if not certified.) TNCC preferred.
**E: Degree of Supervision Required:** Is able to function independently w/ minimal supervision. Is directly responsible to the Charge Nurse in directing & providing patient care.
