Step outside the traditional hospital walls and deliver hospital-level care directly in patients’ homes. This innovative role blends the autonomy of delivering care in the home setting with the complexity of acute inpatient nursing, supported by a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

🚗 What We Offer

Company Vehicle & Gas CardLocal Travel Only (within estimated ~30 minutes of Lutheran General Hospital)Manageable Caseload: 3–4 patient assignments, which may include admits/discharges, per 12-hour shiftFlexible Schedule: Includes alternating weekendsCompetitive Hourly Pay

🩺 What You’ll Do

Deliver acute, hospital-level care in patients’ homesPerform skilled clinical tasks (IV starts, phlebotomy, medication administration)Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes requiring escalationCollaborate with a virtual and in-person interdisciplinary teamUse evidence-based practice to ensure safe, patient-centered careCoordinate discharge planning and ongoing care needsPromote a culture of safety and high-quality outcomes

✅ What We’re Looking For

Required:

Active RN licenseBLS certification (AHA)Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record2+ years of recent acute inpatient care or ED experience preferred

Skills:

Strong IV, phlebotomy, and clinical assessment skillsAbility to work independently in home settingsExcellent communication and critical thinkingComfortable with technology and remote monitoring tools

💪 Work Environment

Travel within designated service areaProvide care in private home settingsPhysical activity required (lifting, bending, standing, etc.)Exposure to clinical and environmental variables typical in-home care
