Description:

Position Purpose

In the Adult Behavioral Unit at Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, the Registered Nuse (RN) provides inpatient care for adults experiencing acute or chronic mental health disorders.

What You Will Do:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and mental health conditions, including withdrawal symptoms and psychiatric stability.

Administer medications as prescribed, monitor for side effects, and provide patient education on medication management.

Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers.

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

Graduation from an accredited nursing school

Valid RN license in Connecticut

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing

The ideal candidate will have one or more years of Mental Health; Substance use treatment or Behavioral Health acute inpatient setting experience.

BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

Position Highlights:

Full Time: 36hrs/week-Night Shift or Part Time-24hrs/week-Night Shift

Every Other Weekend/Holiday
