We are seeking an experienced RN who is passionate about education, staff development, and clinical excellence in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a key role in supporting a high-performing Emergency Department team by leading comprehensive onboarding for new staff and delivering ongoing education focused on competencies and departmental initiatives. The RN Administrative Coordinator will monitor training progress, identify and communicate educational needs to leadership, and work collaboratively with CNS and CNL team members to enhance clinical practice and support positive patient outcomes.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
Assess the needs of internal/external customers according to established professional standards and institutional guidelines/policy/procedure.
Organizes and prioritizes services and activities considering the needs of the customers.
Actively participates in quality improvement program development and professional growth activities for self while assisting in the professional development of others.
Evaluates effectiveness of services.
Demonstrates leadership in the delivery of services.
Provides for a safe environment and safe delivery of services.
In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
Position Compensation Range: $81,078.40 - $129,729.60 AnnualMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate of accredited nursing program, Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.Experience: 3 years relevant Registered Nurse experience required. Minimum of 3 years of RN experience in an Emergency Department is preferred.Licensure: Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia required. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. Must be on-site (no remote work); flexibility required for varying shifts, including nights as needed for coverage.Prior experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center and a strong understanding of ED industry standards is preferred.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
