Job Details Our Intermediate Care Unit (Step Down Unit) RN will: Care for patients who are experiencing severe, but usually non-life threatening problems requiring moderately complex assessment, treatment, and interventions. Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education. What you'll bring: Passion for Telemetry/Critical Care 2+ years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience in Telemetry at an acute care facility required Previous Step Down Unit or Critical Care Experience preferred Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required Other requirements: Must be computer literate. Must be able to read and write basic English. Salary Range USD $52.59 - USD $61.06 /Hr.
