**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** 12 Hour Day Shift **Description:** At **Mercy Medical Center** the **Labor & Delivery Unit, Family Life Center** 16-bed birth center proudly serves new moms and families in the local community by offering exceptional care, delivered by attentive staff with a complete array of amenities-all in a serene, homelike setting. We provide quality care for mothers during the final stages of pregnancy with birthing, monitoring mothers’ vital signs and becoming acute in signs of symptoms of possible complications. Our professionalism, punctuality, attendance, teamwork, and empathy are at the core of how we represent Labor & Delivery care and care for our patients, together, we positively impact the lives of all our patients and their families. **What you will do** In this critical role you will assist in creating and managing nursing care plans and will participate in the evaluation of current and future medical needs of the patient. **Minimum Qualifications** + **Education** : Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. BSN graduate preferred. + **Licensure** : Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Massachusetts. + **Certification** : BLS (AHA/ARC). ACLS & Neonatal resuscitation required within 6 months of hire. C-EFM certification within two years of hire. **Preferred Skills:** + **Experience:** Previous Maternal Child Health experience preferred. **Work Schedule** : Full Time, 36-Days 12 hour shifts; Every other Weekend, Holiday. **Ministry/Facility Information** **Mercy Medical Center** has established itself as one of the leading providers of health care services in Western Massachusetts.
