Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
Contingent Option 1: Unit based contingent that reports directly to the Unit Manager/Unit Director. Meets all accountabilities of a Registered Nurse. (Refer to Job Description, Registered Nurse, F02426).

Shift: Days, no weekends or holidays
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.
Previous 1-2 years recent ER/Pre/Post Experience as a registered nurse and a demonstrated level of performance and practice
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
BLS/ACLS Required.
PALS preferred.
