In essence, the RN in a plastic surgery clinic executes a series of structured and critical tasks that directly impact patient safety, comfort, and the overall success of the cosmetic or reconstructive procedure. They are the frontline implementers of the care plan, requiring a high degree of technical skill, critical thinking, and compassionate communication.In-clinic procedures: Involves assisting with and performing a variety of in-clinic procedures, including port/drain removals, wound/dressing changes, tissue expander fills, skin grafting, and skin excisions.
Job Requirements
Required:
Current Washington state Licensure as an RN
BLS from American Red Cross at time of hire
Bachelors of Schience of Nursing
Strong patient assessment skills, ability to work collaboratively in team setting.
Current working knowledgge of electronic medical records.
