We’re looking for a 7-on. 7-off. On-Call RN Full Time
You will act as primary liaison between physician, patient/family and hospice team.Provide direct patient care services to hospice patients and supportive care to the patient’s family on an on-call basisManage an interdisciplinary group consisting of Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants and support staff to enhance the quality of hospice careEvaluate patient/family needs and assist in the preparation and execution of the plan of care for each patientMaintain all assigned patient clinical recordsParticipate in company quality assessment and performance improvement programs About YouQualifications - What you'll bring
• Current RN license in the state of requested employment (or eligibility to obtain)
• 1+ years of nursing experience
• A hospice heart: compassionate, calm, and dependable in urgent care situations
• Excellent clinical judgment and the ability to provide support in emotionally intense settings
• Comfortable providing care in patients’ homes, facilities, or wherever they reside
• Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation
• Current CPR certification
Preferred Experience (Not required):
• 1+ years of hospice, home health, oncology, or palliative care experience
• Familiarity with symptom management, triage, and after-hours home-based care
• Prior experience in on-call or overnight nursing roles
• Strong documentation and electronic medical records (EMR) skills
