Registered Nurse – NICU

Location: Holy Cross Germantown Hospital
Department: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Schedule: Full-Time | Nights

Position Purpose

Holy Cross Germantown Hospital is proud to offer compassionate, high-quality care in our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our NICU team. Whether you're an experienced NICU nurse or looking to transition into neonatal care, we offer a supportive environment.

What You Will Do

Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, respiratory therapists, social workers, and other professionals to provide specialized care for infants in the NICU.Attend high-risk deliveries, including those involving multiple gestation, meconium, and congenital anomalies.Administer medications, insert IV lines, and manage ventilators/CPAP as ordered by physicians.Educate families on home care and prepare them for discharge.Document patient care using electronic medical records (Cerner, transitioning to EPIC).

Minimum Qualifications

Education:Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ASN required; BSN or MSN preferred).Licensure/Certification:Current Registered Nurse license from the Maryland State Board of Nursing or a Compact State.AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.Additional life support training as applicable to NICU requirements.

Pay rate: $38.92- $55.68

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
