**Registered Nurse Manager – Behavioral Health Unit (Inpatient Facility)**
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced **Registered Nurse Manager** to lead our **Behavioral Health Unit** at our inpatient facility. This role is responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and guiding a multidisciplinary team in a supportive and therapeutic environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, clinical expertise in behavioral health, and a commitment to fostering a safe and healing space for patients experiencing mental health challenges.
Key responsibilities include staff supervision, care coordination, compliance with regulatory standards, and collaboration with physicians and mental health professionals. **Position Specifics:** This position will have oversite of the Behavioral Health unit both in patient and in patient medical detox at our nursing access center. It is a 52 bed unit.

Shift Details: Monday through Friday business hours 8AM-5PM with rotating on call requirements.

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution (degree will be verified).
+ Current Nursing License to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice. Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
+ Leadership/supervisory experience.
+ Must complete Intermountain Health’s required leadership training and development courses within one year of accepting this leadership position.
+ 2 years clinical experience.

+ Demonstrated experience in the area of oversight.

**Physical Requirements**
+ Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
+ Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
+ Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
+ Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
+ Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.)
+ May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
+ For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.
