Responsibilities
Monitor, assess and report changes in medical conditions for individuals with developmental disabilitiesTrain staff to provide high-quality care through ongoing education, trainings and competency evaluations Coordinate services and supports, prioritizing health and safetyParticipate in team meetings, planning and implementation of person centered health careDemonstrate knowledge of nursing standards of careComply with HIPAA regulationsEnsure compliance with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines Communicate with multidisciplinary team members to meet individual patient care needsPossess strong written and verbal communication skills Applicants must be flexible, able to work in a team and self-directed environment, and possess excellent time management skills
RN/LPN will assure the needs of the people supported are met by coordinating services and advocating for their best possible health. Qualifications
Education: College degree from an accredited nursing programLicensure: Active and unencumbered license to practice nursing in the state of NDCurrent valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation Two years’ experience working in a DD setting preferred Candidate must be able to work in a team and in self-directed environments, possess excellent time management skills, dependable and compassionateOverview
