Summary
Collaborates with physicians and other team members to provide consistent quality care for network patients. Provides high quality hyperbaric nursing services and delivers patient care in a safe efficient setting for hyperbaric medicine. Conducts daily inspections and takes care of the hyperbaric chamber(s) and related support systems.

Job DutiesProvides direct care to patients undergoing hyperbaric medicine treatments. Documents patient care and related activities in the patient's medical record. Participates in and facilitates an ongoing and effective hyperbaric medicine safety program. Facilitates scheduling and completion of diagnostic and/or other studies/procedures essential to treatment regime. Knows location, operation, availability, and care of equipment. Intervenes to correct, minimize, or prevent actual or potential risks based on patient observation and physiological, behavioral, environmental, and financial data. Collaborates with wound care providers to develop individualized patient treatment plans in accordance with assessment data.
Minimum QualificationsAssociate’s Degree Nursing 2 years Acute, ambulatory, or outpatient care setting. Knowledge and understanding of codes and regulations that govern the operation of a hyperbaric medicine facility. ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - State of Pennsylvania within 30 Days American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s Degree Nursing 1 year Hyperbaric medicine department. CWOCN-Cert Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse WOCBCB - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire or CWS - Certified Wound Specialist AAWM - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire or WCC - Wound Care Certified NAWC - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
