This process is enacted through direct clinical practice, management of patient care and general professional duties. Education/Experience Requirements Required: + Graduate of an accredited associate degree + One (1) year of Critical Care experience. Preferred: + Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program or higher degree *Bachelor’s degree required within 8 years of being hired or those licensed after 2017. Licensure/Certification Requirements Required: + Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse + Basic Life Support (BLS) + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred: + Certification in a specialty area. Critical Care Nursing + PALS required within 1 year
