Registered Nurse - Critical Care Unit - Full Time - Days Job Locations US-TX-Richmond ID 2025-4915 Category Nursing - ICU/CCU Type Full-Time Shift Days Responsibilities Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and EvaluationDevelop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessaryCommunicate changes in patients' clinical conditions with Physicians, Nursing Supervisors/Managers, and co-workers as appropriateParticipate in the discharge planning processEnsure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards Qualifications MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ASN, ADN, BSN, or MSN)MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE: Previous clinical nursing experience required. Previous CV/Post-Op open heart experience preferredREQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse, or Graduate Nurse, Board Eligible. American Heart Association BLS required. Completion of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within six months of hireREQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsProficiency in clinical, computer, and typing skillsKnowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and healthcare regulations (preferred but not required)
