General Summary 

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Nursing Director, in collaboration with the Medical Chairman and the Administrator, provides clinical support I the emergency department to produce optimal productivity with maximally time efficiency and a satisfying experience for emergency patients. This is accomplished by the Clinical Coordinator by the continuous overview of the demand-response status of all work groups and care areas and the continuous redirection, and redeployment of resources as required. This includes but not limited to: assisting with coordinating patient throughout (triage, placement in rooms/areas, diagnostic, treatment, dispositions) and ensuring completion of clinical tasks and movement of patients throughout the emergency department. Coaches staff in clinical critical thinking and customer service skills.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Two years emergency department experience in HFH Emergency Department. Previous charge nurse/leadership experience preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current Michigan Nursing License, current ACLS, TNCC and ENPC.
