**Department:** MGL Cardio Vascular Associates **Shift:** Days **Daily Work Times:** 8:00am - 4:30pm **Scheduled Biweekly Hours:** 80 Responsible for the delivery of nursing care within the assigned unit scope of practice following organizational policies and procedures, nursing process guidelines, standards of care, and standards of practice. **Essential Functions and Responsibilities:** + Assists in performing clinical procedures as directed by the physician/provider. + Collects, records, reports and maintains data. + Assesses each assigned patient, evaluates and documents their response to care and takes appropriate action. + Plans and implements patient care and provides patient teaching using Standard of Care. + Adheres to established principles of aseptic technique and infection control. _Required:_ + Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. + Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license. _Preferred:_ + ACLS certification.
