We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse Cardiac Rehab like you to be a part of our team. **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing individualized, age specific, goal directed care. The RN assesses the needs of the adolescent, adult and geriatric patient/client to develop a plan of care and then implements and evaluates the plan. The RN bases the plan of care on current nursing knowledge/skills and institutional methodology. The RN accepts assignments that are commensurate with his/her experience, knowledge and ability. The RN delegates tasks to the licensed and unlicensed personnel according to the Texas Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy. **What you will do in this role:** + Provides evidence of the current required license or certification as outlined in the job description. + Performs assessments/reassessments designed to gather data relevant to the patient's individual needs and disease process; reports relevant data to licensed staff or patient's physician or designated alternate. + Assesses the patient for pain and provides care according to the plan of care/treatment plan or as directed by licensed staff or patient's physician or designated alternate. + Assesses and observes patients for signs and symptoms of abuse and neglect; reports significant findings to licensed staff, patient's physician or designated alternate or applicable regulatory agency. + Systematically assesses and reassesses the patient to gather data relevant to the patient's individual age specific needs, disease process and physician orders to follow the patient's individualized plan of care. + Demonstrates the knowledge and ability to provide care, treatment and services, and administer clinical drugs according to established policies, procedures, standards and/or protocols up to and including in a medical emergency. + Demonstrates the knowledge and ability to evaluate patient's response to interventions; reports relevant data to licensed staff or patient's physician or designated alternate. + Documents assessment data, patient care, interventions and evaluations in the required computer hardware/software and/or medical records in order complete patient reports, data analysis and outcomes management as needed. **What qualifications you will need:** + Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date + (RN) Registered Nurse + Associate Degree HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball (https://careers.hcahealthcare.com/pages/hca-houston-healthcare-tomball) has provided quality healthcare to Tomball, Magnolia and Northwest Houston communities since 1948.
