Join us in providing advanced, patient-centered care that improves quality of life Key Responsibilities: Responsible for assisting Providers by preparing patients for medical exam, assessment, and telephone triage. In partnership with the clinic administrator, ensures implementation and success of NHMG goals, organizes and directs the clinical environment, and coordinates teams to assure effective care is given to provide quality patient care in physician practices. The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system, collaborating with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, delegate and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health or supports creating an environment that allows team members to be present with patients and families. The Registered Nurse utilizes best scientific evidence and compassion to assist the patient in navigating their health journey. Responsibilities It is the responsibility of every Novant Health team member to deliver the most remarkable patient experience in every dimension, every time. + Responding to Inbasket & MyChart Messages •     Addressing patient inquiries, symptom reports, medication questions, and follow-up concerns. Results & Follow-Up + Relaying Diagnostic Results + Communicate lab, imaging, and pathology results to patients. + Document communication and ensure provider follow-up when needed. Assisting with Procedures + Support minor urologic procedures (e.g., catheter changes, cystoscopy prep, bladder scans). + Maintain sterile technique and assist with equipment setup. + Monitor patient response and provide post-procedure education. Qualifications + Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has beeninactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course. + Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred. + Licensure/Certification: + Current RN license in appropriate state, required. + ACLS, PALS, BAT and DOT, preferred.
