Our mission is guided by our Strategic Principles and has three critical components; patient care, education and research that together enhance our contribution to society. **Responsibilities*** + Provide the delivery of culturally sensitive team-based care models in delivering expert nursing care to a diverse adult Rheumatology patient population. + Perform telephone triage, including assessment, screening, and clinical advice; direct patient care including injections, patient education, documentation with follow-up, in-clinic hands on procedures, and coordination with ancillary services and related departments, and other duties as assigned. + Participate as a member of the collaborative health care team, working closely with patients and their families. + Provide functional supervision to assistive personnel; collaborate with colleagues, other disciplines, and health care/community services to promote continuity of care for optimal patient outcomes. + Work with Rheumatology providers to develop and carry out clinical standards of care for various patient rheumatological diagnoses. + Accurate and efficient documentation of nursing care.
