Registered Nurse in the Centralized Monitoring Unit CMU plays a key role in supporting the safe and efficient monitoring of nearly patientsrsquo cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic status This is a non direct care position ideal for a clinically skilled RN with experience in telemetry who enjoys working in a fast paced technologically advanced environmentThe RN in this role provides clinical support to a team of Central Monitor Technicians CMTs promotes adherence to protocols and facilitates clear communication with inpatient care teams This position contributes to the overall quality of care by helping ensure accurate cardiac monitoring appropriate escalations and consistent workflowJob ResponsibilitiesSupport and coordinate the daily activities of Central Monitor Technicians to ensure timely and accurate telemetry monitoringServe as a clinical resource for rhythm interpretation protocol adherence and telemetry best practicesCollaborate with the CMU Nurse Educator to help provide training and reinforce department policies and proceduresSupport smooth transitions between shifts to maintain continuity of patient monitoringParticipate in daily team huddles and contribute to unit based initiativesAct as a communication link between the CMU and inpatient clinical staff promoting timely updates and coordinationAssist in reviewing staffing assignments and making adjustments as neededContribute to quality improvement efforts related to telemetry and monitoring workflowsAssist with coaching and guiding staff in real time situations promoting best practices and a supportive degree completion expected within five yearsMinimum one year of nursing experience including telemetry experienceCurrent CT RN license requiredCertified Rhythm Analysis Technician CRAT or equivalent preferredStrong communication and clinical problem solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environmentComfort with using clinical systems telemetry technology and
