Onamia, MN, USA | Hourly | 40.36-65.02 per hour | Full Time Summary Under the direction of, and in collaboration with unit management, performs responsibilities exercising initiative, judgment, and independent decision-making within the scope of the State Nurse Practice Act, hospital policy and other governing organizations. Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation) in a systematic approach to the direct and indirect care of patients and their families. Job Duties The essential functions of this job are identified with an asterisk (*) at the end of the bullet point. + Provide quality care in multiple settings: Pediatrics, Medical, Surgical (inpatient/outpatient), Emergency, Senior Care, Nursery, Chemotherapy and Ambulance Transport as needed/delegated*. + Maintains certifications in all areas within scope of practice*. + Supervision of LPNs, Nursing Assistants and Health Unit Coordinators as needed*. + Effectively utilize nursing process: Demonstrates effective interviewing and assessment skills and integrates new or current techniques to obtain physical/psycho-social information from the patient/family to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care through the nursing process. Initiates and maintains patient care plan to reflect current patient needs utilizing computerized documentation*. + Customer Service: Respects the privacy and dignity of every customer, internal or external. Is courteous and friendly, uses a quiet, respectful tone of voice when speaking with customers. Shifts are rotating 12 hour including rotating weekends and holidays. Supervisory Responsibility Supervisory responsibilities would include oversight to non-licensed personnel who maybe assisting you with the care of your patients.
