What We Offer RN 🌟 Now Hiring: Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Telemetry (Full-Time, Nights) Location: Forsyth Medical Center – Winston-Salem, NC Schedule: 7am-7pm Sign-on Bonus: Up to $30,000 Relocation Assistance: Up to $7,500 About the Unit – 4 General Telemetry (Monitoring Unit) 4-General Telemetry is a dynamic Medical/Surgical unit dedicated to delivering exceptional care to a diverse adult patient population. Unit Highlights: 41-bed med/surg telemetry unit Typical 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio (flexing to 1:6 as needed) Average patient length of stay: 7–10 days Primary diagnoses include CHF, hypertension, COPD, diabetes, and respiratory diseases Collaborative, high-performing team with a strong Shared Governance Committee Dedicated ADT nurse (out-of-coverage role) plus robust support staff Recognized as a Center of Excellence with top patient experience scores Outstanding 2024 Team Engagement score: 93% If you thrive in a fast-paced environment with diverse patient care needs and exceptional teamwork, this is the place for you. 25 What You'll Do The Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system, collaborating with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health or supports a peaceful death. The Registered Nurse utilizes best scientific evidence and compassion to assist the patient in navigating their health journey. The Registered Nurse accepts responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care in accordance with the current policies and procedures. What We're Looking For Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course, preferred.
