What You'll Do The Cardiac Pre‑ and Post‑Procedure Unit provides comprehensive care for patients with heart failure, those recovering from CAS (coronary artery stenting) procedures, and individuals undergoing complex cardiac interventions. Our services include EKG monitoring, intravenous vasoactive medication administration, NSTEMI (non-ST‑elevation myocardial infarction) treatment, peri‑operative support for permanent pacemaker placement, and management of cardiac arrhythmias. The Registered Nurse will prioritize building genuine, personalized relationships with each patient and their chosen support network. Through close collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, we assess, plan, implement, and continuously evaluate individualized care strategies. Grounded in the latest scientific evidence and deep empathy, we guide patients through every step of their cardiac health journey. What We're Looking For Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course, preferred. Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. Why Choose Novant Health?
