Facility: East Cooper Medical Center Location: Mount Pleasant, SC Department: Emergency Room Position Type: Full Time (36 hours) Work Schedule: 7p-7a - Nights What You'll Do + Provides direct and/or indirect nursing care under the direction of the Department Director and/or Charge Nurse + Delivers safe, effective, and professional nursing care to assigned patients + Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the healthcare needs of patients + Cares for a diverse patient population, from infants to geriatrics (unless otherwise specified) + Works collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes + Maintains a customer-focused approach and supports hospital and unit goals + Delivers nursing care that aligns with established practice standards and clinical guidelines + Must be willing and able to float to other comparable nursing units as needed What We're Looking For + Current unrestricted RN license in the State of South Carolina + Successful completion of nursing service orientation program + IV therapy training and/or competency within one year + Annual participation in Skills Fair and completion of competency checklists + Maintains any required department-specific certifications + Must have current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications + TNCC certification required within one year of hire + Advanced certification in specialty and/or participation in professional nursing organizations encouraged Why Choose Novant Health?
